Delivery / Shipping Policy

Most orders will ship within 7-10 business days from the date of payment. Items will not ship until PayPal payment clears. All packages will be sent via USPS. 

Cancellation Policy

Buyers remorse happens and we completely understand. But here at Average Joe’s Eyewear we do try to ensure that your glasses are processed and delivered to you in a timely manner, therefore if you wish to cancel your order please do so within 24 hours of the original purchase time. Please send us an email at [email protected] and include your name, invoice number and a brief explanation. We will then gladly reverse the charges, upon approval. Please allow 3-5 business days for your refund to process. (This time can vary from bank to bank), see below for return and exhange policies. 

Exchange Policy

Please contact us at customer@averagejoeseyewear.com for details on the exchange policy. If you have made a purchase please include your name, and invoice number along with a brief explanation. If you are changing you glasses due to a doctor’s prescription change or update, please include that in the email as well. 

Refund Policy

Please contact us at [email protected] for details. If you have made a purchase please include your name, invoice number and a brief explanation, we will then email you a return label with shipping instructions. Returns will be accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for your refund (minus original shipping charges) to process once we have received and inspected your return.

Prescriptions


The customer is responsible for entering all data entries correctly.

This includes but is not limited to, pupillary distance (PD) and accurate prescription (RX) information. The customer is verifying that the information entered from their prescription has been copied correctly from a valid, non-expired eyeglass prescription written for them from a valid Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.

Protection Plan


Accidents happen, we get that. Be worry free knowing that our Protection Plan will protect your newly purchased eyewear for 2 years against manufacturer defects, accidental breakages, and any possible damage. While the Protection Plan does not cover lost or stolen eyewear, we mean it when we say it covers any possible damage. Dog ate your glasses? Covered. Kids snapped them in half? Covered. Accidentally ran over your glasses? Covered. T-Rex stepped on them? Yes, we will even cover that.

Use and details of the Protection Plan:

  1. The Protection plan must be purchased at the time of sale.
  2. The plan is designed to protect one pair of eyewear for 2 years against manufacturer defects and accidental breakages. The plan does not cover lost or stolen eyewear.
  3. To activate the plan the customer must email us at [email protected] and include the following in the email: Invoice number of original purchase, a brief description of incident and a request for a return shipping label (at no charge to the customer).
  4. This is a one time replacement of the original eyewear and the customer cannot extend the Protection Plan for any future eyewear breakages.
  5. If by chance the frame is no longer available through the manufacturer the customer will be notified via email to select a different frame to complete the transaction.
  6. The customer cannot upgrade nor change any lens options from the original order.
  7. The customer cannot request a change in prescription, the original prescription must stand on the order.
  8. No refunds are permitted.
  9. The process for the replacement pair of eyewear will not start until the original pair has been mailed to our processing center, and has been confirmed via the supplied tracking number.
  10. Please allow 7-10 business days for orders to process not including shipping, we will ship your new glasses back to you at no charge, USPS first class.
